NZ to enter WTO Government Procurement Agreement

'New Zealand companies will gain greater access in bidding for foreign public contracts following the government's decision to join the World Trade Organization's Government Procurement Agreement (GPA).'

 

'Countries that are members of the GPA promise to open public contracts to businesses from other member states. It also sets out rules member countries must adhere to relating to competition and openness.'
