PPADB boss calls for separation of roles to curb conflict

'Public Procurement and Disposal Board (PPADB) executive chairperson Bridget John says although the pararastal is forging ahead, there are however bottlenecks like conflicting roles in participation in procurement and oversight.

 

'John therefore proposed before Assistant Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Dr Gloria Somolokae in Gaborone during the tour of the parastatal that the combined roles of the chairperson of the board and chief executive officer (CEO) need to be separated to enhance corporate good governance once PPADB shifts from an operational board to a regulator.'
